Well, I really thought I'd missed the boat on finding a Toil to go with my hider's Trouble. It's been a popular game, with a good number of each tag being published, but the East Midlands has not had many, and those that did come out were either nowhere near or at a time when I couldn't make it.

And the same happened with this tag. Published early yesterday morning, which would normally have been ideal for me. But yesterday I had a trip to Greater Manchester planned, which effectively ruled out anything else, so I resigned myself to this being another lost opportunity.

I didn't get chance to look at it again yesterday, but this morning I checked it out - no claims yet! Even now it wasn't plain sailing - I'd got to take my wife's car in for its MOT, and that ruled out an early morning dash to Brackenfield. So it wasn't till I got back from the garage that I could finally start making my way, conscious that there were two other people "watching" the tag - it could still be a wasted journey.

I arrived at the parking place and there was nobody else there. The tree was instantly recognisable so I crossed over and walked round it once. No immediate sign of the pussy, but then I heard a faint mewing coming from above, and there was Toil, secure in her little hiding place and very contented to have been found after spending longer than anticipated stuck up a tree. So I have rescued her and brought her home for a dish of milk.
